2025 Skogfjorden Julepynt

Skogfjorden (and the entire Norwegian-American community) had a huge celebration this year!  When the Restauration left the shores of Stavanger in 1825 bound for New York, not many could have fathomed impact that journey would have on the future of both countries.

At Skogfjorden, we are committed to affirming, refreshing and expanding our connections to Norway and those connections can trace their roots back to the Restoration.  

Whether you can trace your own heritage to the Norwegian shores or not, we can all celebrate the ways all of our lives were changed thanks to that first voyage.
